Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity. I’ve reviewed sites with lots of bells and whistles, and I certainly appreciate the creativity and effort that goes into coming up with that kind of variety. Definitely there is a place for sites that offer online chatting, webcams, games, personals, etc. But there’s also a place for simple, streamlined sites that do one thing and do it well. In that spirit, I present Next Door Hookups.

There are a few pictures here and there. There’s a link to an online store to buy dvds. A newsletter seems to be coming soon. You can even pay a premium to request that your favorite performers do something special on film just for you. But this site is really about one thing…hot guys fucking hot girls. I know a few gay guys who are completely not into straight porn…no matter how hot the guy, once they see the girl they’re turned off. But many gay guys I know are extremely turned on by straight porn, for whatever reasons.

The performers here are all amateurs, all apparently in their early twenties. The site promises, “No plot. No storyline. All amateurs. All sex.” They’re not kidding, and you just gotta love it. We visit sites like this to get off, and sometimes you just want nothing to get in the way, nothing to distract, and nothing to fast-forward through. Just page after page of thumbnails of easily-viewable videos of really hot guys fucking. The videos are well-shot, and believe me, they do the job…my hard drive is filling up fast.

No DRMs to spoil the party here—once you download the movies, they’re yours forever, even if you don’t renew your membership. The site offers movies in Windows Media or Quicktime, and you can stream or download. Again, nothing fancy, just exactly what you want and need. All downloads were quick and clean, and streaming was fine as well.

Terrifically simple, almost IKEA-looking in its clean design. An ever-present menu is at the upper right of each page to help you get where you want to go, and a helpful indicator at the upper left always lets you know where you are. You won’t get lost here, no matter how much of your bloodflow is directed away from your mind.

No dead links here, no dead ends. Helpful menus and pointers abound, so you’re never lost.

The lower score here is simply because they’re a little cagey. This might be a place where they could be less simple. The options presented are to pay monthly ($29.95), or for 90 days ($68.95). You can pay with a credit card, online check, or charge it to your phone bill. What they don’t offer, or don’t mention if they do, is an option to automatically renew your membership. They should offer the option, because you will want to renew.

This is an outstanding little site. It makes a simple promise, and delivers exactly what it promises. The models are, well, model-hot, the content is easy to access, and the site looks great. You won’t miss the bells and whistles at all. The site is a tad pricey, but, in my opinion, the quality of the content makes it more than worth it.
